Last Monday, Zhao Bing professor came to Nanjing Foreign Language School to teach us about the structure’s art. Zhao Lin is teaching in the Nanjing Forestry University, and he is a landscape architect.
Firstly, he told us the some different meanings of “Garden”. For example, the Chinese meaning -----“园 ”.

The two writers: It means the branches of the tree.
Secondly, Zhao Bing told us the history of gardens. Such as Scared grave, Pathmark, etc.

Then he told us the mainly types of Chinese Garden, Imperial garden, Personal garden, Temple garden and Scenic spot garden. He said Suzhou Garden is the most ancient city forest, and it is the lively history. It is the poem and painting of the scenic, it is also a miracle structure.
Next, he was teaching us the characteristics of Suzhou structures:
(1)Divide the mountains and the rivers.
(2)Appreciation of the beauty’s characteristic of the Taihu:“Thin, leak, appear, crinkle.”

Cross Good Mountain Villa:

Although the class was not really finished, we learned many things from Zhao Bing professor. This kind of knowledge may not be used in our Senior High School, but they may be very useful in our future. When we visit the Suzhou Garden next time, we will have more feelings about this structure. Zhao Bing professor tried his best to teach us, to give us the knowledge.
In fact, I felt a little boring. The reason is I don’t have interest about structure. I still make me earnest to listen to him, because it’s OK to get more knowledge. Of course, I won’t mind if he would come to teach us about structure again
